Winter Season Venues

New Venues for our 20th Anniversary Winter Season

We have a number of exciting venue changes to announce for our 20th Anniversary winter lineup. We are starting a new concert series at St. John's Episcopal Church at 200 Main Street, in Thomaston, Maine. We hope to draw a new audience from the Rockland area and make it possible for old friends nearby to come hear us without having to drive long distances in the winter. These Thursday night concerts will kick off each of our subscription series (on Oct. 20, Dec. 1, Mar. 22 and May 17).

Though we have played at Brunswick's United Methodist Church for many years during the winter season, we are now moving across the Androscoggin River to Topsham, where we will now be playing our Sunday afternoon concerts at the Midcoast Presbyterian Church at 84 Main Street. It's a lovely space for music, so we hope our Brunswick fans won't mind making the short trip over the bridge on Oct. 23, Dec. 4, Dec. 10, Mar. 25 and May 20.

We will continue to play in the lush acoustics of St. Mary's in Falmouth, although these concerts will now take place on Friday nights instead of Saturdays (Oct. 21, Dec. 2, Mar. 23 and May 18).

Perhaps our most exciting news comes from Andrew Fenniman, Executive Director of the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta. "Lincoln Theater is pleased to welcome the DSQ for their 20th anniversary season to our stage. Their wonderful music-making is a perfect complement to our mission of being the source of entertainment for our community. We are excited to have them in our historic hall and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership." We'll be there on Saturday nights (Oct. 22, Dec. 3, Mar. 24 and May 19). The seats are comfortable, lighting is terrific, wonderful restaurants abound, and you'll be reminded of the date when you see our name up on the marquis!

We look forward to seeing you in these great venues soon!
